Our established State Farm Insurance Agency is offering an entry level position for a qualified candidate to join our team. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required. We mentor and train to develop our new team members for a rewarding career in insurance with excellent income and growth potential. The regular hours for this position are Monday-Friday from 9-5. (No evenings, no weekends).
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting policyholders at the office to assist them with everything from taking payments, collecting signatures on documents, answering policy questions, taking photos of vehicles when needed, providing quotes and assisting with applications and setting up claims
- Helping prospects and policyholders on the phone with everything from taking payments, answering policy questions, offering discounts, providing quotes, binding new insurance products, setting up claims and more
- Assisting Account Managers on sales and service activities such as "onboarding" new policyholders and collecting documents
- Handling office financial deposit, driving to the bank and handling mail.
- Notarizing insurance documents as needed
- Responding to customer text messages, handling faxes, returning voicemails, responding to mail and email.
- Checking work for completion and working with the company as needed to make corrections
As an Agent Team Member, you will receive when eligible:

Requirements
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Computer literacy
- Positive, outgoing, and a team-player
- Self-motivated
- Ability to make presentations to potential customers
- Bilingual - Spanish preferred
- Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
- Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
- Must be able to reliability get to and from Maplewood office and bank

Compensation: $43,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year
